I’ve been reassured that the disbanding of the group doesn’t mean a lesser appetite or motivation re the Bill itself, and I’m especially reassured by the news that the Safe Access Zones Bill will be brought before @ScotParl before summer recess. The group being disbanded was a reasonable cause for concern, and I do still feel it was a premature action before legislation is brought before Parliament. But, it is important to acknowledge that the Bill itself is coming very soon, which is extremely positive news.

I spent a day yesterday being called stupid and a misogynist, having people tag my uni/place of work, saying I shouldn’t be an NHS employee, and one whipping up a bizarre conspiracy that I’m actually male - because I dared say something negative about a prominent GC. I didn’t even name the person in my tweet - I pointed out the hypocrisy of claiming cancellation/silencing from multiple MSM platforms. And I got a day of abuse for it.

GCs aren’t lacking in voice - if anything, they become more and more emboldened as the moral panic continues.

I tweeted this and fell asleep, I realise now I forgot to turn off replies so some truly lovely individuals are swarming this tweet with anti-trans bigotry peppered with personal insults about me. Truly a charming lot! I’m usually very good at limiting replies so that nobody needs to see nasty responses - I apologise for that! It’s a good curation of new block list additions though, if you so happen to scroll through.

I had the most wonderful birthday weekend, I’m feeling so grateful and full of love.
