BREAKING: Chairman @BennieGThompson announced that he has reached an agreement with Ranking Member @RepJohnKatko to introduce legislation to form a bipartisan, independent Commission to investigate the Jan. 6 domestic terrorism attack on the U.S. Capitol.
homeland.house.gov/news/press-rel… The legislation, entitled the National Commission to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol Complex Act (H.R. 3233), will be introduced TODAY and is expected to be considered in the House as soon as next week.

As to be expected, @realDonaldTrump lied many times when trying to justify his unlawful #FakeTrumpEmergency to get his border wall.

Here are the facts on just a few of them, because no matter how often he lies, we can't ever allow these brazen lies to go unchecked. 1/ TRUMP: "They say it all comes through the port of entry. It's wrong. It's wrong. It's just a lie."

FACT: Well, per @CBP, 90% of heroin, 87% of meth, and 80% of fentanyl seizures by border officials were trying to be smuggled across the border at legal ports of entry. 2/
