🧵 This week, President Trump signed the “Secure America Act” into law, building on generational border security wins accomplished under this administration & @HouseGOP––even in the face of Democrat obstruction.
Here’s how this legislation gives @DHSgov the resources, staffing, and tools necessary to maintain a secure border for years to come:
The Secure America Act:

🧵🧵Another optics smokescreen from Biden & Harris. Parole may not be renewed for some Venezuelans flown in through the unlawful Biden-Harris CHNV program, but there are numerous other ways they could be allowed to stay. cbsnews.com/news/venezuela…

🧵🧵We're not sure where Democrats got their numbers for the floor debate today, but during every full month of the Biden administration, including last month, encounters have been higher than President Trump's final month in office.
All of these numbers are from CBP:
Nationwide, total encounters by CBP were 92,746 in December 2020 (Trump's last full month), but 205,019 in June 2024!
This includes illegal aliens coming across the Southwest, maritime, and northern borders, as well as inadmissible encounters at official ports of entry.
