Visiting the graves of the righteous is a Sunnah of the beloved prophet ﷺ

The Beloved prophet ﷺ use to go to the graves of the martyrs of Uhud once a year and also recite the verse of the Holy Qur’an on excellence of patience (S13:V24). He use to supplicate for them. When the beloved Prophet ﷺ left this world, the Khalifs, Hazrath Abu Bakr, Hazrath Umar, Hazrath Uthman and Hazrath Ali Ridwanullahi Alaihim Ajma’een used to do the same thing.

Imam Malik’s prominence as one of the four jurists of Islam is well-established. Once caliph Abū Ja‘far Mansūr visited Medina and he asked Imam Mālik:

There are many various chains of narrations for this hadith all chains going back to Musa Ibn Hilal al-`Abdi (RadiyAllahu anhu) from `Ubayd ALLAH Ibn `Umar (RadiyAllahu anhu) who narrates: Ibn Hajar al-Haytami said in his commentary on Nawawi's Idah fi manasik al-hajj:

Ibn Khuzayma narrated it in his Sahih, Ibn al-Kharrat and Taqi al-Subki also declared it sound (sahih).

This hadith below goes hand in hand with the previous hadith I posted thus, further strengthening each other and confirming one another.

This hadith is reported authentically from the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) via the companion Maysara al Fajar: “I asked: "O Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), when were you [first] a Prophet?" Hadhrat Adam (Peace be upon him) supplicate to Allah ﷻ with the Wasila and Tawassul of the beloved Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). This is mentioned indirectly in the Holy Quran and directly in Hadith respectively. It is given in the Holy Quran:

"Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration and his Lord turned toward him; for He is Oft-
Returning Most Merciful."
