Part 3: The Financial & Legal Wreckage of the Kool Aid Kult

In January 2019 when Jim “Jones” Lyons took over the MassGOP state committee, the party had $700,000 in the bank.

Four years later, when he was ejected in disgrace and ignominy, the party was $602,000 in debt – and had nothing to show for the previous four years except the loss of dozens of political offices, without a single pickup from the Democrats.

What happened?

The Kool Aid Kult.

And now the shut-ins and crackpots are desperately trying to regain power, after demolishing the state GOP for four years. Jim Jones Lyons and his top deputy, Geoff “DoorDash” Diehl, are attempting to wrest control of the state committee from normal people so that they can complete the destruction of Massachusetts as a two-party state.

We’ve discussed the Kool Aid Kult’s loss of every contested open race. Now let’s consider just how badly the party was run financially. Since Lyons was booted as party chairman a year ago, the party has had to pay a $15,000 fine to the state for campaign-finance violations involving two other members of the cult, Sen. & Mrs. Ryan Fattman, a couple of no-account Worcester County hacks.

The crew is working hard to calculate the cost of "Mimi's" snack cart.

So far, they've tallied $269.38 (check out the photos below), but we need your help!

Finally, too, we have a list of the 24 cities/towns where the illegals are being warehoused by MA. (THREAD) Letter came in response to FOIA request by Rep. Peter Durant, who is running in special election for vacant Senate seat. (Durant will be on show tonight at 5:30.) Healey flak makes no distinction with citizens and "newly-arrived families," so we don't know how many are illegals.

Here's Amanda Orlando, campaign manager of the worst statewide campaign ever in Massachusetts history -- the catastrophic gubernatorial race of  Geoff "DoorDash" Diehl. (He couldn't even get 35% of the vote.) The third person in that photo of Amanda and DoorDash is Russell Morris, a close friend of Amanda's. @massgop plans to grill hapless failed candidate @RepGeoffDiehl about 2022 "campaign finance irregularities" now being probed by state regulators at its upcoming June 8 meeting. Party will also try to question other principals in the catastrophic Diehl campaign, which ran up hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid bills which were then apparently improperly charged to @massgop, per statements of new chair Amy Carnevale.

In light of shocking allegations in Durham report against UMass graduate Charles Dolan '74—he apparently concocted false "pee tape" story in Hillary Clinton's dirty-trick dossier—I have requested an official statement from school. I'd like to know whether such an insurrectionist/election denier continues to serve on the "advisory board" of the UMass political science department.

Here's letter @massgop chair Amy Carnevale just sent to Bruce Mittman, Jim Jones Lyons' ad guy, pointing out that the party is not responsible for at least $262,000 he billed party for spending on hapless guv campaign of @RepGeoffDiehl, who couldn't even manage 35%… of vote last fall.

According to Amy, Mittman has not responded to inquiries about the $400K+ bills in more than 7 weeks. Mittman is a donor to the shady sheriff of Suffolk County, Steve Tompkins, who has been fined a total of $14,800 (once for nepotism) by the State Ethics..

Here are more unprinted letters to the editor of the Globe from Methuen city councilors about firing of paper's last real reporter, Andrea Estes. Andrea busted the lid off the entrenched corruption at Methuen City Hall, just another reporting coup of hers. But the Globe doesn't want to rock the boat. It's part of the rancid woke establishment.

@massgop Chair Amy Carnevale just mailed out a statewide update to local GOP activists, including info about the unpaid $602,000 in bills left behind by ousted crackpot chairman @JimLyonsMA. For the first time, Carnevale reveals that an unnamed statewide campaign last fall made huge ad buys that according to public filings were "authorized" by the hapless candidate, but after the election were "incredibly billed" to the committee to be paid for.

In what may be in record time, the MA appeals court has tossed out crackpot GOP chairman @JimLyonsMA's attempt to stop @MassGOP member Lindsay Valanzola from voting against his reelection tomorrow night in Marlboro. This morning, judge noted that Lyons had no authority to toss her from committee, that he had to go through committee as required by MA GOP bylaws:

"Defendant Lyons knew there was a process; however, he did not avail himself of that process."

Case dismissed.
