As the Wellcome Trust Strategic Award in Medical Mycology and Fungal Immunology comes to an end the past and present directors would like to acknowledge the fantastic group of scientists in the WTSA MMFI consortium who made the partnership a resounding success. The consortium involved 12 host institutions in the UK and the Radboud University in the Netherlands. There were 5 PDRAs, 3 clinical PhD fellows and 12 International Research scholarships for PhD studies funded through the WTSA.
