Everyone, if you can spare the money, get an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK). These are kits designed to save lives during traumatic injuries (i.e. explosions, stabbings, shootings). Buy from a reputable dealer. Learn how to use it & practice. Buy extras to give out at protests.
Minimum IFAK contents are a tourniquet, a bandage (Israeli style work well), chest seals (2), & a marker. You can get more advanced kits, but only let trained people use advanced items (Nasopharyngeal & Decompression Needle). You can save a life. We need these on the streets now!

@SrslyWrong@MaterialistWife@exiliaex We sometimes characterize positions of hierarchy in some Indigenous systems as hierarchies based on respect, not domination, i.e., people made hold a position of chief in a hierarchy that causes people to follow their guidance, but there is no mechanism to enforce this. 1)@SrslyWrong@MaterialistWife@exiliaex Caribs/Kalinago would never abide an order to go fishing, but at the suggestion that fish was needed by the chief, people would join him in fishing. Indigenous comrades & non-indigenous accomplices: please see what you can do to directly support brave people of the @UnistotenCamp & #gitdumten with the rapidly evolving critical situation on the outskirts of their territory. If you can't provide direct aid, prepare for action.
What make the Oka standoff successful was not only the brave stand of the Mohawk people, but also the large number of solidarity actions, sabotage, & economic blockades conducted by allies simultaneously. This reduced the ability of the state to focus assets on the Mohawk at Oka.

An excellent look at the EZLN transition away from Marxist-Leninism in an effort to break down authoritarianism & build a movement reflecting the Indigenous Mayan peoples' traditional Anarchist communities. Magón would have critiques, but would be proud.
