🧵Cuneiform Signs and Scientific Terminology, a meta-thread🧵

In an effort to help me memorize/internalize both cuneiform signs and their myriad uses in Babylonian astronomical texts, I want to feature a new sign each day and describe some of its meanings. First up, šú (or šu2, but I guess Twitter doesn't love subscripts?)
