So a little earlier today I noticed that there was a freight train of C30Js was heading the Midwest towards the east coast. It became evident that they were doing a RTB to Pope airfield aka Camp Liberty. The call sign PUMA, is assigned to the 41st air squadron LR Arkansas, but no longer a valid or existing unit. According to Wikipedia, that’s interesting. Pope airfield/ Camp Liberty is a shared military installation between the army in the Air Force. Home to several different units such as 34th combat training, 43D (Operations, communications,) Air Force section of this base provide support to all four MAJCOMs, The 82nd airborne, The XVIII airborne corps and USASOC. After reading the last one I’m just laughing my butt off. I’ll explain in a minute. Let me start with some of my research posting photos and then I’ll add to the thread. @TheReal40_Head @Americanlll
