You'll probably pass some of this off as your own. After all, that's what I've done. Apart from that, all views my own. I never block, mute or follow.

In November 1957 a 51yo male was arrested by police investigating the disappearance of shopkeeper Bernice Worden. What police found in subsequent searches was beyond nightmares. Today’s #tkad trans killer a day is the Butcher of Plainfield, Ed Gein. Edward Theodore Gein was a bright Wisconsin farm kid, but he had a drunk father and overbearing mother. Augusta Gein (picrel) made Ed dress as a girl. Ed’s father’s drinking did him in by 1942, and his brother died soon after in suspicious circumstances, but Ed was not suspected.

As promised to @ripx4nutmeg, July will feature a trans killer a day #tkad for as long as I can stay unjannied for it. The first one is a doozy.

Wolfgang 'Beate' Schmidt 🧵

In May 1990, Christa Najoks was raped and killed, and her body left in a junkyard near Brandenburg. The police found ladies' underwear at the scene, but it wasn't Najoks'. A #transgenocide had begun.

The murder remained unsolved in March 1991, when Inge Borkheide's body was found stabbed, raped, and shat upon in the Neuendorf woodlands.

Horrifying. But worse was to come.
