So, some folks wanted pork ramen recipes.

I don't really do recipes, but I can walk you through the process.

Step 1: Pork bones. Neck bones, back bones, leg bones. All are good. I'm adding a couple feet for extra collagen.

You want chunks, but not too small. Image If you buy your pork bones at an Asian grocery, then like 95% chance they're cut about right.

If you buy full size bones, you need a bandsaw.

So, fuck that. Buy cut up ones.

@BrianMarlatt @ZachOfWilson @jdgunn44 @TWilsonOttawa @CCFR_CCDAF @CSSA_CILA @CanadasNFA @Calibremag @TheGunBlog @BadLegalTakes Except that the case law establishes what the clear meanings are. You can't show even a single case where your argument has been followed by the court, which suggests that the roll of the dice is one with odds of 0%.

How do you address R. v. Ching, 2019 ONCA 619? @BrianMarlatt @ZachOfWilson @jdgunn44 @TWilsonOttawa @CCFR_CCDAF @CSSA_CILA @CanadasNFA @Calibremag @TheGunBlog @BadLegalTakes Still waiting on this, @BrianMarlatt

I guess let's talk about one of the ways that scientists/academics lie to you (the public). So, we're going to talk about P-hacking. And to do that, we're going to talk a little bit more about statistical analysis, so this might get a bit complicated. So, one problem that constantly exists in science is "How do we tell if a thing is having an effect?" Let's say you've got a new medicine that you're hoping does something. How do you tell if giving it to people actually makes them better?

If I got a time machine:

Temporal Police: "You have any idea how much trouble you caused?"

Me: "Listen, if this is about Hitler."

TP: "Oh god no. Everyone shoots Hitler when they get a time machine. We're actually more worried if people don't do that."

Me: "Oh?" 🧵 TP: "Yeah. We're really good at fixing that one. Unfortunately the whole war and the rest is a fixed temporal event. Even if Hitler dies, it happens. The only thing that changes is what facial hair goes out of fashion."

Me: "So why fix it?"

So, Virginia residents. I have a question about your local customs and practices:

What the actual fuck?

So I stop in at a local store to pick something up. While there, this guy comes in, wanting a refund from an earlier transaction. No product, no receipt. (1/X) It becomes apparent that he wants a refund on a transaction where his card was declined. He thinks they somehow took money out of his account on a declined transaction. The store is like "No, that is not a thing." He's getting upset. (2/X)
