Is the Quran preserved? A thread 🧵:

In the following thread, we will be clarifying the following:

- 7 ahruf of the Quran
- The standardization of the Quran
- Mushaf Ibn Mas’ud Image Are there multiple Qurans?
The Quran was revealed in seven ahruf. These seven modes of recitation go back to the prophet ﷺ.

An example of a difference in recitation is in Surah Al-Fatiha verse 4.

In this verse, there are two words which are both correct: Maalik, and Malik.

Regarding 20:5

المنحرفون (people who do tahreef - distort), للمبتدعة (innovators) and الزنادقة claim that the word "istawaa" is not ma'ruuf (known). But the reality is that every word in the Qur'an is known. There are many statements from the Salaf regarding the huruf al muqatta'ah that it is known what they mean - meaning if even these are known then how can it be that a word in the Qur'an is not known.

What is ‘lezginka’? (🧵)

Lezginka is a traditional dance within the Chechen culture, where a circle of people is formed. A man from the circle goes inside of it, and picks (by way of pointing) a woman that he wants to “dance” with. The man and the woman dance whilst maintaining a distance. The woman walks around within the circle, moving her hands in a seemingly ‘elegant’ manner. and the man holds one arm in an outstretched position, while he alternates between which of the arms is outstretched.

Christianity teaches:

There are three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each of whom is fully God, distinct from the others, but all share one divine essence.

And at the same time:

There is only one God, not three. An essence is what something is.
A hypostasis (or individual) is who or what instantiates that essence.

So:

You are a human because you
instantiate the essence of humanity.

I could also instantiate that essence — but we are not one human.
