1- It wasn't an 'ape' quote. It was a passage from #Shakespeare about arrogance/overconfidence.

2- It was the 'ape' quote that @MShapland quoted to #AlastairStewart's employers as evidence of racism, in the hopes of getting him sacked.

From what I've seen of his TL, AS regularly QT's his responses instead of replying under the line.
