1/ NAIJ has learned that both the Chicago and Atlanta immigration courts were recently closed because individuals with confirmed COVID-19 had been at the courts. EOIR failed to disclose the reasons for the closures to the public.
2/ EOIR recently announced on Twitter that Chicago was closed for one day but it was really closed three, with no further announcement. EOIR announced Wednesday that Atlanta would be closed Thursday. It is still closed today (Monday), with no further announcement or explanation.

EOIR has ordered immigration court staff to remove CDC posters designed to slow spread of coronavirus.
No, this is not a parody account.
NAIJ had recommended to immigration judges that they post in courthouses the English and Spanish language versions of the CDC's "Stop the Spread of Germs" and "Symptoms of Coronavirus Disease 2019" posters. EOIR ordered that they be removed.
