@War_Dharma I haven't forgotten this question, just have been busy. I have one thing to write first and then I'll get to replying to this. It'll act as something I can link to for others, too, so it's fine and worth it. @War_Dharma All right, thanks for your patience.

"With what purpose in mind?"

The term we've sometimes used is metapolitical translation, which is the process whereby metapolitics becomes politics.

@War_Dharma @trashyComanche9 @MongolBuddha Flattered, just know that I don't take Twitter that seriously for the moment. My content is 8 parts inside American political commentary and 2 parts absurdist shitposting. There will come a time (by summer maybe) where I up the theory posting. @War_Dharma @trashyComanche9 @MongolBuddha My Twitter bio shows what I ultimately want to move to, but how I'm using Twitter right now is to just offload political analysis I'm doing privately, in passing.

That crazy $30 T debt conservatives are exploding their brains about? The US economy makes it in 1.5 years.

Yeah. Con Inc is a game. Wise up. And anyone who says "future generations pay for" don't understand how bond markets work. Governments going into debt is an arrangement orthogonal to the generations of citizens. In other words, future citizens are paying debt payments to other future citizens, not to dead people. lol

There's no doubt that GOPe and Con Inc are a manipulative show, but I worry about the simple resentment going on as the only response.

There is a mastery called for, either as victory in war but more ideally transcendence. I would sometimes write that you define yourself by whom or what you make your enemy.

If Trump disappointed you, that's fair. If you think he's lethargic, hedonistic, degenerate, okay. But if you center on him, where are you placing your value?

This is also loosely known as "jawboning."

Jonathan Turley said it would be possible to sue the government for violations of the 1st Amendment (and possibly 4th and 5th) if the private actors could be shown to be 'agents'. How you link agency to the government would be through this concept of jawboning, but I don't know the precedence.

I listen to an occasional AR/DR podcast or interview where I can, on a drive to the grocery store or something. It says something that the vibe in them is mostly the same: that they're financially broke and confused about what to do. The DR is in the financially poor and confused state it's in because, 65-35, competence has a very strong incentive to leave (which it already has and does basically every decade), acting on opportunities with others that also don't sit on their hands

It's a shame how many families have replaced meaningful ceremony with movies, most of which are formulaic CGI.

They get together on holidays and only know how to eat, talk about work, and watch a movie. Why movies became the dominant social intermediary is worth a thesis in itself.

In any social setting poor in organic nature, be it an awkward date or (unfortunately) your average family, simulations get substituted as the bonding cue.

How many years before Joel circles back and realizes the full depth by which Adam and I were already working on this question? I acknowledge the stubborn reality of what the DR calls HBD, but thinking race or ethnicity is the first and fundamental reality rather than a secondary construction of it would mean you don't have a robust model of how we got here or how to get out of the present situation.

Pompeo endorsing the Bush lackey McCormick tells you all you need to know about Pompeo.

Most of us could see through what Pompeo was in interviews. He's way too manufactured a commentator. Dina Powell is McCormick's wife. I promise you Trump remembers what she did and how she leaked.

Why Trump isn't coming out and campaigning on all that, God if I know, more a moron than these people are scum.

One example of many of how hot button issues should not be ideological, 'obliterating history' (resdivinaestpublica.wordpress.com/2018/09/10/eri…):

newsmax.com/newsfront/girl… I do support 'gun control' and have for a number of years now, in the same way the medieval kingdoms controlled weaponry: it belongs to the responsible, not to everyone.

Caught the new Keith Woods video:

I can write you guys a long essay on theory of history or just give the basic points of my response. I'm guessing most people prefer the latter: (1) There is not a structural-conceptual dichotomy possible that saves nationalism as an originating worldview in need of no greater help.

(But beyond that, I do take Keith as a tactically serious person and support him wanting traditionalists to have fuller-bodied praxis.)

Love means something much more than what most people think (material obsession, therapy of disorder).

I was always hesitant myself about how feminine Buddhists (especially Western Buddhists) could be. And while I already knew to suppose they mean something very expansive, I still couldn't understand until I got older and had even more experiences and self-reflection. Talking with religious people of equal intellect and seriousness and sincerity has helped magnify the same in me.

Imagine thinking China could take over the world before already producing critical resentment against it:

newsmax.com/newsfront/wint…

The world will head in a better direction, but it will inevitably involve war and death, as it always does. Tucker was 100% right that the Ukraine issue effectively distracts from China, if it wasn't intentionally done to do exactly that.

The only serious anthropology and the only serious leadership are both religious. I'm 'unaffiliated' and will likely continue into syncretism, but I have great respect for Orthodox Christianity (don't read too much into my silly trolling of what is probably more feminine Episcopalians) and Islam.
