Today's Graduate Longitudinal Education Outcomes (LEO) data shows that 84.4% of young people who were eligible for free school meals are in sustained employment or further study five years after graduating, with only a 3.5%pt gap with their better-off peers. (1/6) These statistics show the benefits of higher education in aiding young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, into education, employment and training (EET). (2/6)

Here's our journey... 2/8: Prior to 2013, Impetus-PEF existed as 2 orgs: Impetus Trust & The Private Equity Foundation (PEF). @DWP appointed PEF to manage UK's 1st social impact bond @ThinkForwardUK. Impetus & @suttontrust won a £125m tender from DfE to run @EducEndowFoundn, launched by @michaelgove
