▫️Union Budget 2019-20, the government announced to invest Rs.100 trillion in infrastructure over the next 5 years.
▫️Consequently, the National Infrastructure Pipeline worth Rs. 103 trillion spread across over 6500 projects across sectors was launched on 31-December-19 while the value of projected investment has got revised to 111 trillion in May2020.
▫️This translates in per year spending of around Rs. 22 trillion.
▫️The National Infrastructure Pipeline aims to improve the ease of living for its citizen.
