This is so popular across all political ideologies that Koch & allies own polling found NO message effectively countered idea that billionaires shouldn’t be allowed to buy elections. newyorker.com/news/news-desk… The fact that the bill would stem the flow of dark money (from likes of KS billionaire oil magnate Charles Koch) proved so popular, the poll makers said it wasn’t worth trying to mount a public-advocacy campaign to shift opinion. 2/

What an intense ride for @KansasDems! Candidates & supporters and after an exhausting 4-yrs for all. We meant to post earlier but it has been hard to find words to salve the hurt or quantify the range of emotions — especially during this election cycle. 1/ We want to say THANK YOU to EVERY progressive candidate who threw their hat in the ring in the last 2 election cycles since we came into existence. You stepped up when insurmountable challenges to change here in Kansas might have suggested you just sit right back down. 2/
