Love seeing the lists people put us on. Favorite so far has been "Dorks" because yes, actually, we are. Have you seen the running gag of supposedly having a Star Trek labor meme quota? Come on, we don't work on this magazine because we have friends. Please god someone be our friend we're getting really tired of hanging out with contributors and editors and @IWWFJU because we all just end up yelling about how much we hate capitalism and our schedules can never line up for this D&D game we've been planning for WEEKS.

The point of "sex work is work" isn't to abolish the industry. It is "the oldest profession" because as long as humans have existed we have wanted companionship. Sex work is a service, they provide an experience. The point is that sex workers are fellow workers 🧵 And all fellow workers deserve a safe and meaningful work environment. The point of "sex work is work" is that the workers know their industry best and know how to make it better. We organize sex workers because there is power in a union, power to create meaningful change
