1/ Many people have heard of the Plymouth Brethren, but few know the larger story of this global faith community.

Setting conjecture aside, I intend to stick only to the facts regarding this Faith Community. 1. Laestadianism's strictest sect :The Levites

Amongst the myriads of sects within the world of Laestadianism exists a sect stricter than all the others. The Leeviläisyys or the "the Levites") are a tiny, ultra-strict splinter from the Firstborn Laestadians, formed in 1965. Image 2. It’s one of the most rigoristic and ascetic groups in the entire Laestadian tradition.
Primarily found in Finland, especially in southwestern areas like Eura and Pöytyä (where they hold regular gatherings/seuroja).
