The idiotic notion that the B12 would be better off without WVU hit a nerve with me. Well, it hit two nerves. The Mountaineer program doesn’t receive the respect it deserves. Many perceive WVU to be far less than it is.
Nobody is willing to give the Mountaineers the credit they have earned. WVU is a blue chip program. The networks recognize that fact. The SEC holds WVU in high esteem, but nobody else does.

Earlier today someone pinged me for saying SMU didn't have much football value... that's true. The Big 12 passed over SMU several times. The reason... SMU has almost no market share in Dallas and even less throughout Texas.
The NY Times fan map shows SMU's lack of market share. No matter how far you zoom in... no SMU.

I think I need to remind everyone that @MHver3 is fraud. I know this how? I'm glad you asked. I used to have a popular podcast - The Spin Zone. My producer wanted me to have MHver3 as a guest. I always spoke to guests before their appearance....
When I spoke to @MHver3 he told me this wild story that he was a consultant for the Big 12. He described a meeting he was in with UCF.... in Orlando... where UCF pitched itself to Big 12 reps... and that he was in the room because he was a consultant for the Big 12.

I can't stress this enough... from 2011 to 2021 the driving force for expansion was the size of the cable market and the revenues from carriage fees.
Carriage fees were free money to the B1G and SEC. What's a carriage fee? I'm glad you asked. A carriage fee is the amount the cable company pays to carry BTN and SECN. The cable companies pass that cost on to their customers.

I have some legit insider information from a source in the sports broadcasting industry that I was going to write up and disseminate, but I don't have the time. So, I'm just going to spill the beans here and now and see who takes notice.
But first, do me a favor, remember who, what and when. Keep track of how many of the details I'm sharing tonight come to fruition.

The Pac 12 has put on a master class of incompetence enabled by entitled hubris. I'm not sure why George Kliavkoff still has a job. But he's not the one to blame despite his failings... and he FAILED....
The blame belongs to the presidents and chancellors of the Pac 12. They enabled Kliavkoff, none a single one of them demanded answers or pointed out their Titanic was about to collide with an ice berg. Why?
