A U.S. contractor dead and 5 servicemembers (and 1 U.S. contractor) wounded, this is a pretty big drone attack that will presumably have a disproportionate response by the U.S., as they opted for in 2019 prior to the 2020 escalation b/t the U.S. and Iran. In 2019, at least 31 107mm Katyusha rockets were fired at the K-1 Air Base in Kirkuk, resulting in the death of 1 U.S. contractor. 4 U.S. servicemembers were wounded, and 2 Iraqi security forces personnel were wounded.

North Korean state media says Kim Jong-Un oversaw a three day weapons test, including an "unmanned underwater nuclear attacking vessel" which the DPRK says it aimed at creating "superpower radioactive tidal waves with underwater explosion". State media says the "underwater offensive weapon system" was tested between March 21st and 23rd. It says the "secret weapon" was named "unmanned underwater unclear attack vessel Haeil" at the 8th Congress of the WPK, held in January 2021.

Annabel Goldie, Minister of State at the UK Ministry of Defense, confirmed yesterday that depleted uranium ammunition will be sent to Ukraine for use in the Challenger 2. Earlier this year, Russian diplomat, and Head of the Russian Delegation in Vienna on Arms Control, @RusGavrilov, warned use of these weapons would be likened to the use of a "dirty nuclear bomb".

At least 1 person is dead and 8 others are wounded (one with critical injuries) following the rampage. A 62 year old man was arrested, he's believed to be the lone actor, and the NYPD commissioner said there is no evidence currently pointing towards terrorism involvement. The 62 year old was identified by senior law enforcement officials as Weng Sor, according to NBC New York. Officials say Sor was arrested earlier this month in SC for reckless driving, it's possible he had been living in the U-Haul truck.
