If Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu Cares To Listen.

I, like many other Nigerians called Muhammadu Buhari ‘President Muhammadu Buhari’ despite the fact that we never voted him, this is because it is of utmost importance to respect the office of the president inasmuch as political leanings & choices may defer, afterall, the prayer of every citizen is for their country to prosper.

However, that is only when the occupier of that exalted office emerges through a ‘clear democratic process’.

Asiwaju, let’s take a walk.
Image I, personally till this day believe Buhari didn’t win Jonathan whom I massively supported and voted for in 2015, however Jonathan accepted defeat, hence I had to respect that decision and pay allegiance to my country first because if a sitting president could accept defeat despite public opinion suggesting otherwise, it was perhaps foolish and unpatriotic of me to continue the fight. And so I sheathed my sword, even tho it wasn’t sharp enough to make a mark, I had to sheath it anyway.

I can still remember how I cheered Orubebe on as he attempted to halt the collation process, hoping it would prevent Attahiru Jega from subsequently announcing Buhari as the winner of the 2015 presidential polls.

On Feb 3rd 2020, in a historic feat, the Malawi Supreme Court annulled the election that produced Peter Mutharika, then incumbent as the winner and president-elect. Mutharika was declared winner with 38.57% of the votes, the opposition party leader Lazarus Chakwera got 35.41%.
🧵

A re-run was conducted and Chakwera won with a landslide, he was subsequently sworn in as Malawi's president on June 28th 2020. This was the second time such a feat had happened in Africa, the other time being 2017 Kenya presidential election.

At the Appeal Court canteen today, I saw a group of young lawyers arguing about Peter Obi's achievements in education and one of them said “when I'll take him (Obi) serious is if he had taken Anambra state university to top 10”.

I dropped my spoon, it was about to go down.

🧵 The young lawyer was so aggressive with his argument and it appeared he was ‘winning’ as the other lawyers didn't have words to counter his postulation. At this point, I knew it was time to come in and shut the lousy lawyer up. They sat next to my table, so I waved at him.

Chilling in one ‘big man’ lounge, the bartender comes, “boss, that chairman sent me to call you”, I turned to see who it was and a man, in his late 40's or so waved at me. I didn't recognize him and surely if it was someone that knew me he'd have come to holla and not summon me. I signaled with my hands and mouthed “you mean I should come meet you there”, he nodded in affirmation. I said okay, turned back to my drink and continued sipping like nothing happened. After about 5 minutes later, the waiter came back to repeat his earlier message.

If only you knew the man Peter Obi, you'd never worry about our stolen mandate, let me tell you a short story.

In 2014, the 177 traditional rulers in Anambra came together and conferred on Peter Obi the chieftaincy title ‘Okwute’, for a reason, here's why.

A Thread Of all the names they could have chosen, why was ‘the rock’ the one they picked?

Now let's go back to 11 years earlier when Peter Obi ran in the 2003 gubernatorial elections with his new party APGA which he convincingly won, but was robbed by the ruling party PDP, a similar

This is Engr Chidi Nwafor the INEC ICT director and brain behind the card reader & BVA initiatives, he was controversially replaced just 6 months to election.

He was then redeployed to Enugu where he wouldn't be able to interfere with the dirty scheme they had already hatched. Engr Nwafor brought so many reforms to INEC, there was absolutely no reason to remove him from this position because he understood the electronic set-up of the process inside-out since he was the one who introduced it in the first place.

The fact that people managed to misunderstand this guy and call him names, is why I really hate this app. Funny thing is that 99% of the people giving 'takes' are unmarried. Switch the roles and you'd see a different interpretation of this same scenario, I just hate it here man. As a married man, I 100% understand what the man is talking about, he may have worded it poorly but I get his point. There is nothing wrong to caution or control your spouse if you aren't comfortable with some of their activities, how did NG Twitter make it seem like a dilemma?

Anybody who uses the '13 months doctors strike' in Anambra to criticize Peter Obi is just ignorant.

2011: In line with the salary structure approved for doctors working in government-owned hospitals which state governments protested as it wasn't feasible due to meagre resources, Image as with his pro-active nature, Peter Obi called the doctors for a review of this new salary structure and offered a 60% increment from their current wage, to which the doctors refused and went on this strike which would eventually last for over a year.

This bast@rd @U_Rochas that Chimaroke Nnamani used to carry out heinous crimes in Enugu during his 8 year reign of terror on anyone who opposed him. A cultist and a cold hearted killer, you're running your mouth here cos you think we don't know you, don't worry, dey play! 😂😂😂 Everyday you make it a point of duty to insult OBIdients and Peter Obi, a man who has never done you any wrong, whereas you are the most despicable human anyone can meet, you have not a single moral fibre to have the guts to malign another human, you're totally sick.

Let's leave Peter Obi's achievement in Anambra and check his records in the private/other sector.

A thread 1. Fidelity Bank PLC

Peter Obi became the highest shareholder and Chairman of Fidelity bank in 1994 at the young age of 34 making him the youngest ever chairman of a Nigerian bank till date, it was a regional bank (Tier-3) according to CBN stratification of commercial banks.

Time after time, the N/East & N/West have voted Northern candidates at the expense of credible candidates. Their elites purposefully facilitate this by impoverishing & keeping them illiterate which makes them oblivious to the better options that abound outside their region. An average Hausa-Fulani man will vote a Hausa-Fulani man who is completely incapable over an Igbo man who is proven beyond all reasonable doubt to the capable but down in the South East an average Igbo man will vote a Northerner over a fellow Igbo on the basis of competence.

You're on a plane mid-air when the pilot has a seizure, the co-pilot who is inexperienced can't land the plane, one random passenger brings forth himself to fly/land the plane but you quickly do a research only to find out that the bloke had in fact crashed a plane before. Won't you consider this a direct threat to your life? If certain ‘celebrities’ on board this plane decide to ‘endorse’ this person and tells the rest of the passengers to let the man fly the plane, will you remain calm? Won't you consider this a move against your existence?
