Honored to meet @bjoewolf at the @AnnaForFlorida open house. He is such an incredible advocate for our local and the wider LGBTQIA community, for gun control and safety, and other important issues. He has turned surviving Pulse into power.
Don’t forget to support @thedruproject, y’all. Bringing GSA curriculum to schools in memory of one of the 49.
Rest in power ✊🏳️🌈

At open house for @AnnaForFlorida and she unequivocally said she supports sex workers’ rights, recognizes sex work and human trafficking are separate things, supports legalization (we will discuss decrim further but when I explained difference she got it)... (cont)
sex work is an intersectional issue w trans folx and POCs esp WOCs, wears a trans ribbon for Sasha Garden, she supports immunity/amnesty for reporting and will work with us, and those who said they wouldn’t behaved unethically.
I didn’t feed her ANY of this. She’s already there.

This thread is for you, @adannyboy! And for me because media reports keep not matching up to court docs and inmate databases so I wanted to see what was up. Highlights from @MartinFLSheriff warrants issued in February.
1. On 7/6/18, Martin Co. "formally initiated a prostitution investigation" based on report from Dept of Health's Karen inspection on 7/3 (also involved with Jupiter and Indian River Co). See image (excuse my poor quality edits).

In today's "I research and read so you don't have to" news: the Florida spa prostitution sting. Specifically, tracing what's happened with the employees (without naming them). Sources: county court docs, county inmate DBs. Long thread.
1. Last week of August 2018: @VeroBeachPD began prostitution investigation "as a result of numerous citizen complaints." They eventually wrote female manager was only woman they saw leave on her own; they allege other women lived there and only left in manager's company.
