Six decades ago, Black people were fighting for the end of Jim Crow, housing discrimination and the right to fucking vote, NOT whatever this postmoderist, "cishetero"--linguistic abomination is.

As someone who was raised conservative, I think I can answer this.

To conserve a thing (culture, traditions, familial structure) is to honor the individual, be they human, business or government.

It is also to establish boundaries and safeguards against those who would pervert. In the governmental sense, what I as a classical liberal want to conserve is the honor and knowledge of the Constitution of these United States of America.

We do NOT have a functional government right now, and as such, our faith in and honor of our government is LOST.

Thank you for proving just how weak, unresilient and fragile our generation really is. My parents would have collapsed in the first three years of their marriage if they thought they were entitled to "happily ever after" like my generation and younger feel they are.

Instead, they hung in.
