PM Netanyahu: "On Oct. 7th, we were attacked with no provocation by the Hamas monsters. They murdered 1,200 of our citizens. They burnt babies alive. They raped and then murdered women. They beheaded men. They took 250-some hostages, to the dungeons of Gaza.

Yesterday, after the murderous attacks in Jerusalem and Gaza, Prime Minister Netanyahu directed all security elements to prepare for the possibility of striking the Hamas leadership. The Defense Minister fully supported this initiative.

Israel does not have a policy of starvation. Israel has a policy of preventing starvation.

Since the beginning of the war Israel has enabled 2 million tons of aid to enter the Gaza Strip, over one ton of aid per person. Today, prices have plunged because of Israel’s surge in humanitarian aid in Gaza.

The report says nothing about the collapse in prices.

The Security Cabinet has approved the Prime Minister's proposal for defeating Hamas.

The IDF will prepare for taking control of Gaza City while distributing humanitarian assistance to the civilian population outside the combat zones. The Security Cabinet – by majority vote – adopted the five principles for concluding the war:

1. The disarming of Hamas.

2. The return of all the hostages – the living and the deceased.

3. The demilitarization of the Gaza Strip.

The Prime Minister expressed profound shock over the materials distributed by the terror organizations Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad The Prime Minister told the families that the efforts to return all our hostages are ongoing, and will continue constantly and relentlessly.

The PM conveyed, in his wife Sara's name, a great embrace to the families, telling them that she is heartbroken over the unbearable videos

We have set forth a clear policy: demilitarization of the region to south of Damascus, from the Golan Heights and to the Druze Mountain area.

The Prime Minister's Office:

The ceasefire was set for 07:00 this morning. At 03:00, Israel forcefully attacked in the heart of Tehran, struck regime targets and eliminated hundreds of Basij and Iranian security forces personnel. Shortly before the ceasefire was due to take effect, Iran launched a barrage of missiles, one of which took the lives of four of our citizens in Be'er Sheva. The ceasefire took effect at 07:00.
