3 major takeaways from yesterday’s Congressional Hearing on the JFK assassination were:
1. @jeffersonmorley calling out the MSM’s impossible/non-existent “smoking gun standard of proof”, that essentially requires a letter of confession to reach the level of probable cause.
2. @TheOliverStone calling for a new full investigation of the assassination, including a new investigation of the ballistics and most importantly, a new forensic autopsy.

A little background history is needed regarding the problems around the still secret #JFK records.
From 1963 until 1990, there were numerous government investigations into the #JFKassassination, including:
- The Warren Commission
- The Rockefeller Commission
- The Pike Committee
- The Church Committee
- The House Select Committee on Assassinations
In addition, there had been several judicial proceedings around the assassination, including the Clay Shaw trial and Howard Hunt v. Liberty Lobby.
As a result of all of these formal proceedings and investigations, MILLIONS and MILLIONS of pages of documents, along with materials and evidence were gathered up by government agencies and Congress.
For the most part, executive agencies and the Congress kept all of the records and evidence stored in classified archives and did not allow historians or the public access to these important and historical documents.
