What I find disturbing in the SC judgment is the deliberate trivialization of the facts. Is it true that 388 polling units results that amounted to over 200k votes for Uzodinma were canceled? What reason did INEC give for cancelling such a huge amount of valid votes? Secondly is it true that Ihedioha won only in 1/4 of the state and not 2/3 as required by law? Ararume who came third according to INEC premised his case for a rerun on the above. Is it also true that Ogunma who came second according to INEC wasn't a valid candidate?

The beginning of the present decay we are witnessing started with IBB. Economic, ethnic and political jingoists blossomed under him. We became a fairly used country because new things were put out of our reach. We were structurally adjusted to a life that was alien to us. The country was bifurcated from 19 to 24 and eventually 36 states all on federal life support. The military had no intention of leaving, they manipulated and tempered with all sacred institutions of state. We now have people who don't even know that their loyalty is to Nigeria.
