The serf’s obligations were local and finite. He owed crops and labor to his lord and that was pretty much the end of it.

Today, we owe taxes, fees, licenses, debts, and endless compliance to faceless bureaucracies

Modern man is bound by zoning laws, tax codes, OSHA rules, HR policies, credit scores, insurance mandates, licenses, and digital surveillance and the list goes on.

There is a propaganda campaign in full swing to label noninterventionists as “isolationist.”
