Iran was one of my chief problem sets when I worked in National Security. I was “in the know,” as it were, during Trump 45’s Maximum Pressure Campaign.

I suppose now is the time for an introduction to Iran thread. The first thing you need to know about Iran is that they have two parallel militaries: the Artesh (regular army); and the Sepah (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps), which each have ground forces, air forces, navies, air defense, and special forces.
