My family has been in N. America since 1740 (at least). All of that time we’ve lived in the South.
I am Southern to my core.
The South is a WONDERFUL part of the U.S. with food, culture, geography you won’t find anywhere else: Grits, fireflies, sugar-sand beaches, BBQ... ...Football (#RollTide), bass fishing, unbelievable musicians, artisans, craftsmen & women - don’t even get me started on the writers...
We have peach cobbler, fried catfish, gumbo, bologna biscuits, the blues, Nashville, New Orelans, the Iron Bowl, Big Mama’s pound cake recipe..
