Munch Madness Selection Show is tomorrow (listen and participate on @LNKToday) but that means that its the time of yr where people new to a longtime LNK tradition get very mad online & let everyone know how garbage it is. A few helpful notes you may not be aware of (LONG THREAD) This is the 14th year we've done Munch Madness, which started as a super informal thing with @JohnBishop71 and me where we just got to talking about it it and it became a thing, looking for Lincoln's favorite local restaurant.

So when I woke up 1st thing I saw was a map from NWS that had just come out & said 2-4 inches in LNK. Pretty much every text we are getting now saying more like 4-5 inches already w/snow still coming down hard and radar looking like we're still in the middle of the heavy band. Now we got people reporting 8 inches. This last hour and a half has been crazy.

We're rapid testing like it's the NFL up in this house. And btw before I get any stupid responses from a few who have replied this week...it is possible to reasonably but not hysterically treat this like it you would any other seasonal respiratory illness and also take measures to avoid spreading it and follow work/school protocols.

I've had quite a few people ask about the last few days and the story behind it, which I've (when I've thought about it) hashtagged, #ChicagoHope. Here's a little background. Most know I grew up a diehard Nebraska basketball fan from going to games with my Dad starting when I was 8.
