Geolocation for where Sinwar's body was found in Tal as-Sultan area. House is located at 31.3055, 34.2467. Gazebo (green) is visible with white tower (red) and house across the street (pink) visible in other reference imagery.

There's @planet PlanetScope imagery available for the area of UNP 6-52 from October 7 where, compared with September 30 PlanetScope imagery, we can see some changes in the area from possible military activity (new tracks, blackened fields, possible clearings). Image
Image There's limited SkySat imagery of Maroun El-Ras, but the most recent is unfortunately from September 29.

Compared with older imagery from June 5, can see there's some additional damage from airstrikes in the area, especially around the Iran-themed park at 33.09843, 35.45092. Image

Hard to say for sure without more reference imagery, but given the timeframe it's possible this is the New Al Bureij Cemetery which is one that the IDF carved a road through in early January.

Our new video investigation with @scrippsnews and @bellingcat documenting damage to important cultural heritage sites in Gaza is out.

Overall we looked at 150 sites, most of which are mosques, and which showed signs of being damaged or had been destroyed.
There were many archeological sites in our list, one of which is a 1,500 year old Byzantine mosaic found underneath an olive grove in 2022 near Bureij. At the time, it was hailed as one of the “greatest archaeological treasures ever found in Gaza”. bbc.com/news/world-mid…

Area where reported IDF airstrike & fire took place in western Rafah tonight near the UNRWA facility still had a large amount of IDPs in it in May 24 @planet imagery.

Potential geolocation, possible image of large fire was at "Kuwaiti Peace Camp" just north of the warehouses.

Video of IDF bulldozer carving "66" and a Star of David into the land is visible in @planet imagery from January 19 in southern Gaza near Al Qarara and the Kisufim Road at 31.379082, 34.353045. Video was filmed between Jan 19 and Jan 16.

Appears that IDF are using bulldozers on the Al-Faluja Cemetary in Jabalya in northern Gaza. Satellite imagery from @planet shows what appears to be bulldozer activity in the cemetery between Dec 06 and Dec 10.

Hamas military spox says “dozens of captured officers and soldiers” are being held in “safe places and resistance tunnels”.

Seeing folks point out people on the roof shortly before the drone strike at the Kremlin proves something fishy was happening (false flag, etc).

But, as RFE/RL's @kromark noted—this appears to be video of the *second* drone and the people were checking out damage from the first. Evidence for this comes from two videos from a Moscow broadcaster showing the strikes.

In the first, the Spasskaya Tower clock shows the time at ~2:27am and shows the drone splash fire on the domed Kremlin building.

Appears that Ukrainian forces are back in control of Sviatohirsk. Images shared online show the Ukrainian flag at the city council building and soldiers in the city across the river from the Sviatohirsk Lavra. This video shows what's left of the city's monastery buildings, one of which was destroyed on May 17 by an apparent Russian cruise missile strike.

Latest @Newsy + @bellingcat investigation is on Ukraine’s cultural heritage, which has become another front in Russia’s war in Ukraine. @MaximEdwards and I looked at multiple sites that’ve been damaged since the invasion began. Video by @vandiche here: One particular area that’s been hit hard is the famous Sviatohirsk Lavra near the border of the Donetsk/Kharkiv Oblasts.

The Lavra itself has been shelled at least 3 times since early March and 5 other church buildings associated with the Lavra have been damaged or destroyed. Image

Latest @Newsy + @bellingcat video on the Capitol riots is out. Working with @gianfiorella, @N_Waters89 and the rest of the team we searched through videos of Trump supporters who had broken into the Capitol building and pinpointed where they were.
The main crowds of Trump supporters outside the Capitol built up on both the east and west sides of the building. On both sides they eventually overran the thin lines of Capitol Police and swarmed the building's entrances.

Latest @Newsy + @bellingcat investigation takes a look at the massive trove of leaked data tied to neo-Nazi forum Iron March. There were more than a thousands users on the forum of varying backgrounds. Worryingly, some appeared to be in the US military. The leaked data included lots of data like emails, dates of birth, IP addresses & login times — all of it tied to individual usernames. Using that data, Newsy and Bellingcat were able to identify a handful of former and active duty service members with the Navy, Marines and Army.
