In April 2019 Scott Morrison attended Good Friday mass at St Charbel’s Church in Punchbowl. The same church I grew up in, where we baptised my sisters and buried my nan.
The holiest day in the Christian calendar and Morrison marks it (alongside 5000 other worshippers) at a Lebanese Maronite Catholic church in western Sydney, press pack in tow.

The next time someone asks why more "diverse" women from Western Sydney don't run for federal politics, may I Alexis-Carrington-Bitch-Slap them or nah? A 🧵 ...
Seeing some parallels in Labor’s approach to the federal electorates of Fowler and Parramatta in Western Sydney. Parachute in a wealthy, white, smooth operator with no ties to the community at the expense of “diverse” (hate the word but let’s roll with it) local candidate.

So - full disclosure - I don’t know the machinations of the Labor Party and I don’t know the seat of Fowler, which seem like two key reasons to limit my commentary on the Labor Party seat of Fowler … however I'd like a wee chat about the article (yez that one).
One of my key - how you say - issyews with the piece is the false equivalence it presents between Tu Le and Kristina Keneally. Elephant, lion same. (This is a Wog Boy reference and I make no apologies for using it and subsequently having to explain it)

What about this for a story of an under 40 trying to get vaccinated in Australia. So old mate Morrison says late June 28 that under-40s can seek out the AstraZeneca jab via their GP. The following morning I call my GP.
Receptionist tells me they don’t administer the AZ vaccine at their clinic. I call the GP I was seeing prior to her - they do administer AZ but my particular GP is on maternity leave. Thumbs down.
