What comes to mind is this is really a simple issue. It's the way it's getting framed (or isn't), that is the real problem. Use of terms like 'straw man', 'slippery slope', etc. are judgments that do not
@IOHK_Charles help; they advance positions, not interests, and impede productive conversation.
Here, in my view, are the 2 points this comes down to.
1. Is there an L2/app solution that can accomplish what your idea of contingent staking, can?
