On March 25th, 2020, @andrewcuomo and @HealthNYGov issued a statewide advisory barring nursing homes from denying admission to patients solely on the basis of a suspected or confirmed Covid-19 diagnosis. Nursing homes were not given an
advance notice of this order: This mandate was in place for 46 days and brought in over 9,000 infected patients without families being notified. The order was scrubbed from the @HealthNYGov website. It was revealed in an investigation that @andrewcuomo covered up the death toll by at least 50%.

My friend @rontkim’s response to @GovKathyHochul’s announcement of an after action review of the pandemic response including nursing home deaths: “After months of asking for an independent investigation into the State's handling of the nursing home crisis, I'm encouraged to see the Governor taking the first step towards getting closer
to the truth for our grieving families. I believe there are three open questions that must be addressed:

Everyone need to listen the interview with @shelleyzross with @megynkelly about the behavior and character of @ChrisCuomo and @andrewcuomo on @MegynKellyShow. It’s a very revealing look at these brothers and why both of them have gotten away with this behavior for far too long. “It’s a con game to them. They enable each other.”

Tomorrow on the 20th anniversary of September 11th our family will be visiting my husband’s firehouse where they lost all the men on duty that day.

Here are the faces of Engine 40 Ladder 35 who ran bravely towards the danger, into the burning towers to try and save others. Their names are:
Frank Callahan,
Kevin Bracken,
Michael D’Auria,
Lieutenant John Ginley,
Steve Mercado,
Michael Roberts,
Michael Otten,
Jimmy Giberson,
Dan Marshall,
Bruce Gary,
Michael Lynch,

I’ve met a lot of good friends here since May of 2020 when I decided to speak out against @andrewcuomo. I just want to thank all of you for your love, support, encouragement and prayers because they helped. 2) I’m not sure what happens now, but tonight I feel some justice that a leader who abused his power for so long will be without something that made him feel like he could take advantage of others without repercussions. And tomorrow will be a new day filled with a bit of hope.

My mom flew home last night on @AirCanada. She had huge issues flying here two weeks ago with delays/cancellations and hours at airport terminals with no food or water. Yesterday she left New York once again with an awful story. 2) The flight from New York to Toronto was fine but she had a connecting flight to London, Ontario where she lives. The lineup was so long at customs she missed her connecting flight, had to pick up her luggage and wait in line for customer service.

What a bunch of baloney. The right thing to do was to not advise your brother on his sexual harassment charges and to decline Covid tests that could’ve been used to save elderly New Yorkers. The giant cotton swab comedy was a mistake as well. Spare us @ChrisCuomo. Here’s @ChrisCuomo using state resources for VIP Covid tests while nursing homes weren’t allowed access: nytimes.com/2021/05/19/nyr…

Hi @AirCanada my mom is flying from Toronto to New York today. I have not seen her Since Christmas of 2019 and all your flights out are delayed and no one is telling her anything. Get your act together, and be honest with your customers. Update: mom is fine. Her 230 flight was delayed/ cancelled. 430 flight was delayed/ cancelled. Now she’s booked on the 630 flight. Weather is not the problem. It’s that they have no staff that wants to work. Sound familiar?

My OpEd in tomorrow’s ⁦@nypost⁩:

File Cuomo's obscene $5 million book under true crime nypost.com/2021/05/17/fil… Cuomo knew the body count would hurt his efforts to sell his memoir, so he and his henchmen lied, bullied and threatened others to keep it quiet. It also looks like Cuomo used state resources and employees to help him write the book. Hundreds of those pages were based on lies.

The @AP “journalist” that interviewed me for an article about my “unethical” and “political” criticism of @NYGovCuomo wrote this incredibly puffy piece on the governor and his brother in April. apnews.com/article/684cd7… I was under the impression he was going to interview me about my quest for answers and to learn about my in-laws. Instead it was pretty much a hit job and was never meant to highlight my advocacy or honor their deaths.

The moral of this story is: if you work for ⁦@FoxNews⁩, advocacy on behalf of your dead relatives is purely political. If you work for other news outlets, advocacy is no problem at all.

Fox meteorologist Dean turns into fierce Cuomo critic apnews.com/article/fox-we… I have never been a political person in my life. Ever. Ask anyone who knows me. I’ve been an advocate for #ms for 15 years. What about all the journalists who stand up for things that matter to them? It seems to be fine for some but not for others. Which is a shame.

My publicist asked the @TheView several times if I could come on (to promote my book) but also as someone that could talk about @NYGovCuomo and what I've been doing for 10 months to raise awareness and accountability for my husband's parents' deaths. Guess what they said? And yet @sunny can go on every day and bash other governors (calling the governor of Florida "Death-santis) instead of calling out Cuomo for ordering over 9,000 COVID patients into nursing homes, covering up their deaths and oh, sexually harassing at least 7 women.

The media also perpetuated and encouraged @NYGovCuomo’s behavior by asking about his love life (instead of dead seniors), calling him the “luv guv” and “single ready to mingle.” How about this cringe letter to him by @chelseahandler @voguemagazine vogue.com/article/chelse… Watch this @arobach fawning interview without ever asking about nursing homes:

.⁦@NYGovCuomo⁩ Didn't Protect Seniors From COVID-19. But it Was the Media That Covered it Up newsweek.com/cuomo-didnt-pr… “On ABC's @TheView in October, @sunny did mention the nursing home controversy, but she allowed Cuomo to get away with denying he ever sent a directive at all—before they went back to discussing his love life.”

Here’s one of cuomo’s answers about whether or not city workers/elderly can get vaccinated: “you can make a reservation and somebody says that you can come in and get it on Monday, fine, to the extent a hospital says I have vaccine that I can make available on Monday... fine the hospitals still have to prioritize the health care workers and they have a long way to go, but if they have extra capacity and they can do 1B on Monday  fine but make a reservation.”

Here’s some fun stuff I researched after the @WSJ article came out yesterday re: nursing home order to put Covid positive patients into nursing homes: “Mr. Raske, president of the Greater New York Hospital Association, said he contacted Mr. Cuomo’s team for help with nursing homes. Hospitals couldn’t afford to house recovered nursing-home residents long-term, with models showing they soon could be swamped.” @WSJ

This picture was taken a few months after September 11, 2001 for a @VanityFair piece about the surviving firefighters of @FDNY Engine 40/Ladder 35.  The writer was #DavidHalberstam. The photographer @JonasKarlsson. They lost 12 men that day.  My husband Sean is on the far right. 2) Our friend Ray Pfeifer is standing next to him in the picture. We lost Ray to 9/11 related cancer, but Ray fought while he was sick to ensure fellow first responders would have access to health care. We miss him, but his legacy lives on with his family and @RayPfeiferFDTN

My friend Tom passed away. I’ve known him for over 30 years, and he was an incredible influence in my life. I had quit college and was visiting him in California in my early 20’s. Taking a year off to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. 2) I was envious of him living in a beautiful place with the career he always dreamed of.  I told him I wanted to be a radio broadcaster and he sat me down to give me some tough love, and the hard truth that my goal wasn’t going to magically happen.

Cuomo Gets a Nursing Home Inspection - ⁦@WSJwsj.com/articles/cuomo… “Mr. Cuomo decreed on March 25 that “no resident shall be denied re-admission or admission because of a virus diagnosis. He prohibited homes “from requiring a hospitalized resident who is determined medically stable to be tested” for the virus before admission.”

I was told over a week ago I would be welcome to testify at tomorrow's nursing home hearings in New York. A formal request was expected on Friday, but then all of a sudden I wasn't on the list anymore. The democrats didn't even have the decency to respond to me. 2) The only person that emailed me back was Republican assemblyman @Byrne4NY who not only passed on his condolences, requested repeatedly to his colleagues and fellow lawmakers that I be allowed to speak as someone who lost both in-laws to COVID 19 in NY eldercare facilities.
