The more memories I recover about the "youth retreats" I went on
The more I read shit like this and go "yeah, that tracks"
My freshman year, during a week long "youth retreat," we were taught survival and basic combat skills, because one day God may "call upon" us to be his "soldiers" in a war for the soul of the country; that "demons" were everywhere, and it was our duty to "expunge" them.
