🧵The Parole Board report was clear. Chair Bennett's actions put Virginians at risk.

Fmr. Gov. Northam's COS Clark Mercer said Chair Bennett "showed a lack of common sense and a lack of good judgment."

That lack of good judgment released .... Cordell Reed, a convicted murderer and attempted rapist, was given parole after his parole examiner said he remained a danger to the community. The former Parole Board let him out anyway.

He went on to abduct and wound a Colonial Heights woman, and he's back behind bars.
