The unfettered joy of simply kicking back and catching up on my ever-increasing Steam backlog without having to worry about turning gameplay into "content" is a great way to ring in the last month of the year.

First up was finishing Borderlands 2; now on to 3. Great games! Although it has only been a few weeks since my last upload, I have not really thought about "Jauwn" since a few minutes after I hit upload. My real life job schedule has been absolutely insane, and I'll be continuing to log 50+ hour weeks until January.

Two months ago, my fully remote job of 3 years began a campaign to bring all employees back to office.

This confused me, as I was originally hired to be fully remote.

I lost that status because we recently moved into a temporary apartment while we shop for our first home.

1/ My entire team is fully remote, and the nearest office to me is an hour and a half drive.

This didn't make sense to me.

Time to become unsponsorable

VPNs are useless for 99.9% of people and streaming services are starting to not allow you to use them. They do not make your connection more "secure", they only mask the IP address you're connecting from.

And many of them keep logs anyway, Betterhelp is very sketchy and has been embroiled in multiple controversies including misrepresenting the licensure of their professionals and selling consumer data
