What a day! Before 11am @Call_It_Out_ publish a blog in which we set out a clear statement of the law in Scotland in relation to public processions and a clear path to uphold the rights of all citizens: At 11am we engage, along with representatives of other minority, ethnic communities with the Head of Race Equality Policy of the @scotgov who assures us that the discussion of issues relevant to us is going on. We follow up in writing asking to be included in such discussions:

The contents of the letter he referred to can be found here. They clearly relate to race and religion and our position on freedom of expression. These were not the contested parts of the HCB at Stage 3.

I was thinking, for the best part of two years, all we heard on TV news and current events programmes or read in the paper or on Twitter was that anti-Semitism was rife and Jewish people were being abused on a daily basis. Then Corbyn steps down and suddenly there was nothing - not a word. It was gone. The very act of changing leadership of the LP just removed the scourge of anti-Semitism overnight.
