I'm not saying Trump didn't get shot - certainly some other unlucky souls did. All I'm saying is that it's miraculous that he walked away from a cranial tangential high calibre gunshot wound and was able to pump the air and shout slogans🙄. Now you may ask what I know... about cranial tangential high calibre gunshot wounds and you'd be entitled to do so. The answer is that my hubby, who was a military neurosurgeon for a 10 yrs & thereafter Head of Neurosurgery in a hospital dealing with daily gunshot wounds, wrote a paper on them & I edited it.

The battle which begins at the ICJ tomorrow is much bigger than the two countries named in the case. It is a battle between the indigenous peoples of the earth, and the military might of colonisers, for the right to own their own countries and... 1/3 to be equal on their own land. It's a battle to end centuries of theft, brutality, exploitation and might-is-right thinking in favour of true justice and the rule of law - for everyone - not just for the rich and powerful. I never make predictions - but here's mine for the national elections in 2024. I think the ANC will have a reduced majority, the EFF will be the official opposition and the DA will be overtaken by parties like GOOD and Action SA. I think that this will benefit the country, because the EFF will do a better job of holding the government to account than the DA ever has with its limited constituency.
