I respect President Trump, but I’m tired of his campaign hypocritically accusing Ron DeSantis of doing things THEY do.

Since they insist on lying about DeSantis, I have created a running list of Team Trump's ties to Jeb, The Swamp, and Woke corporations.

I am a big fan of Gov DeSantis, but remain unconvinced that 1A retaliation (which I’m convinced this is) for exercising constitutionally protected speech (however distasteful such speech is, like opposing the Parental Rights in Education Bill) is a legitimate legislative and… twitter.com/i/web/status/1… I don’t think it’s exactly a feather in my cap that Mike Pence agrees 😅 but adding this to evidence it is a legitimate constitutional and conservative question. There should be a better public discussion on this than just “end the woke!” I care about 1A.

The limiting principle is enumerated in 1A: FREE exercise of religion. This does not mean only orthodox Christianity. The most misunderstood principle of a Christian nation is that God Himself does not compel belief or worship; neither can the state (nor can it prohibit worship). A nation founded on Christian principles is the only internally consistent structure that requires limited government for the purpose of protecting *God-given* RIGHTS (not state-given privileges). Without God, we cannot objectively define individual rights.

“What about divorce?”

Dissolution of marriages must also follow God’s process and qualify, as He created the institution. The Church is the rightful arbiter of marital disagreements and potential dissolutions.

State-determined no-fault divorce has been devastating for marriage. Just because some do not follow God’s process in divorce doesn’t mean others are free to not follow His process in same-sex “marriage.”

Any reinvention or redefinition apart from God’s design, process, and authority is morally wrong.

The Church needs to stand firm on this.

One of the biggest pieces conservative twitter is missing is that KBJ is a former public defender. There is an ideology that goes along with this. Extreme focus on rehabilitation vs punishment. Her answers are completely in line with this crim law view. The Supreme Court has never had a former public defender. While I do not support the confirmation of KBJ (for reasons forthcoming in my show today), I do think the Court would benefit from a PD perspective. Prosecutors have an ideology as well.

The reason the RNC’s “Pride Coalition” is a watershed issue for conservatives is because objective moral truth matters on all issues. Not just as a moral imperative from a faith-based standpoint, but also for policy and governing.

“Good” must be objective and discreet. Both sides agree civil society must impose some definition of “good” vs “evil.” Examples: R’s are willing to judge abortion as evil; D’s judge intolerance.

So it’s not a question of IF we measure good, it’s BY WHOSE PLUMB LINE?

There is no objective moral case for LGBT agenda.

A President must able to rely on candor with his advisors without concern that a future office holder could compel his advisors to testify against him or break privilege, similarly to attorney-client. /1 He has to be able to speak freely and candidly with advisors, like any client to their attorney, and know that the conversation and work product are privileged.

Executive privilege should enjoy the same protections as the attorney-client relationship. /2

Those who say that Christianity is "one way" or "a way" are denying that Jesus is who He claimed:

"I am THE way, THE Truth, and THE Life. No man comes to the Father but by me." John 14:6 If Jesus is not LORD as He claimed, then He is a liar and the atonement at the cross insufficient.

If the crucifixion was insufficient, the resurrection becomes irrelevant.

If the resurrection is irrelevant, our hope in Christ is meaningless.

Conservatism is the Judeo-Christian ethic and worldview. Self-evident truth that all men are created equal and endowed by God with unalienable rights. The principles of genuine liberty recognize this truth & that govt must protect our rights. Without God, you aren’t conservative. Many confuse this with a theocracy, which is false. The church and the state are separate institutions of authority (that’s what Jefferson meant). The state does not compel worship. But the state does compel civil morality — all laws are inherently an expression of morality.

Yes, but @Mike_Pence fails to address the constitutional option under Article II & 3 USC 15: because a final adjudication of claims had not occurred, he should have asked the state legislatures if the certifications presented were correct according to law. newsmax.com/newsfront/vice… This was a moment in American history that could have cemented state legislatures as the authority they are under Article II, Sec 1.2 for the manner of selecting electoral delegates. A lawless, runaway executive and a spineless state legislature is not what our founders intended.

The election was lawless, six states allowed their delegates to vote by false certifications, but the EC process happened.

The Constitution has only one process for removal of a sitting president: impeachment and conviction.

No, President Trump is not going to be “reinstated.” The best thing we can do as constitutionalists moving forward is to ensure this utter disregard for states’ election laws never happens again.

That’s why election integrity is the number one issue facing America today.
