Both takes are misogynist as FUCK towards the characters and the importance of their roles in the story. And in fairness the kernels of both Aerith and Tifa may have been initially rooted in 'maiden' and 'trophy crush' but throughout the story you can see their development.

We're seeing readers demanding fic writers to create at the same quality and frequency as published writers when in reality this is just a 50k sex pollen crossover fic written by a 25yo insomniac eating bagel bites at 2am listening to lo fi hip hop.
