It could have been some wild theory that easily would have been discarded.

But looking at HTS advances in Jabal Shashbo, Ahrar-Suqour controlled Sahl al Ghab is almost completed cut off from Ariha and Maraat al-Numan now. With current events unfolding, rebel-held Idlib could evolve to a HTS-dominated territory with three main pockets of resistance, contained and isolated from each other.

Thread: HTS could be potentially closer to total dominance in rebel-held Idlib than many think. There is a lot of analysis on how HTS is eying for full control of M4 and M5 highways to make itself incontournable in the face of Turkey. However I see potential plans that are far more ambitious. /1
