This is insane, @elonmusk. Image There’s pro-Hamas accounts who regularly celebrate October 7th all over this website, but it’s Max that gets suspended.

Unreal.

Sheldon Whiteclub (@SenWhitehouse) is using his chair of @SenateBudget to collude with @CNN’s @ella_nilsen on behalf of @GavinNewsom to “investigate” Florida’s insurer of last resort, @citizens_fla.

How do I know this is a political hit? Well, Ella messed up. 🧵 At 9:44am, Ella emailed Citizens requesting a comment. She wanted a comment by 10:40am. 56 minutes.

I’ve been doing this press thing for over 2 years. I’ve had some ask for insane deadlines, but 56 minutes for a 5-page letter? No.

She really wants to get this published... Image

Guys… we need to have a heart-to-heart about unnecessary gear.

NVGs, multiple flashlights + PEQ, gloves you aren’t wearing, a sidearm you don’t need (fight me. It’s true), pockets full of stuff…

All you need is your mags, a light backpack, and a dump pouch full of skittles.
Image Why do you even have rounds for a firearm that you aren’t carrying???

C’mon. Image

A wild one today with the @MiamiHerald. This is a long thread, but it’s worth it.

This request is from @syraob, but don’t worry, @MaryEllenKlas makes her appearance shortly…

The request? See below. 🧵 Image Her contention is that there’s only been 3 arrests statewide since the law took effect on July 1 of this year, but I question the premise of her story…

According to her, this is all new… but human smuggling has been illegal for a long time in Florida. So, I ask questions… Image

Yesterday, @abcnews aired a very small section of their interview with a member of Florida’s African American History Standards Workgroup, Dr. William B. Allen.

Here’s more of the interview, where Dr. Allen debunks @VP’s narrative and calls her criticism “categorically false.”🧵 “I have read the course, all the standards, I am quite confident in their validity, their historical accuracy, and their motivations and intent.”

You’ll never clean up DC by having personal vendettas against entrenched DC swamp creatures.

They’re entrenched DC swamp creatures for a reason. 🧵 ImageImage You drain the swamp by fighting the ideas that permeate all levels of our institutions.

It will take more than just changing personnel or, in the above case, emoting about it on Twitter.

It’s requires action. Image

Just a huge brain-wormed take from @pemalevy at @MotherJones.

Let’s go through her “list of questions” publicly… 🧵 Image Making fiscally responsible decisions isn’t a “show of force.” The governor had a top-line budget amount of $109.9 billion, and he vetoed $3.1 billion to get to that amount.

A constitutional amendment to give a line-item budget veto to POTUS would fix a lot of issues in DC, tbh. Image

.@GovRonDeSantis and the legislature ended Disney’s special treatment in Florida. The attempted 11th-hour agreement by the former board is null and void.

The new EO from @POTUS includes a promise to “deliver environmental Justice and implement the Justice40 Initiative.”

What is the Justice40 initiative, exactly?

Well, it’s exactly what you think… 🧵 According to the Justice40 website they “are a collective of leading environmental justice movement leaders, academics, and advocates committed to working with the Biden administration [to direct] 40% of climate and clean infrastructure investments to frontline communities.”

Florida is far, far more than just theme parks. We also have some of the most beautiful natural springs in the world.

“Natural immunity” lasts longer than vaccine-induced immunity and it’s more robust.

This isn’t a case for or against the personal decision to get vaccinated, but it is useful for someone weighing the risks if it’s a 21 y.o. male, as 90%+ have already been infected. Why the left continues to pretend that most people haven’t had COVID-19 is beyond me.

What purpose does it serve to push the COVID-19 vaccine on someone that’s already had COVID-19 (or just doesn’t want the mRNA jab), and they’re at higher risk of myocarditis?

Lots of gaslighting in the article from @drmoira777 of @AmerAcadPeds published in @WSJ.

Let’s compare what the AAP is claiming in the WSJ vs. their own guidance, which cites WPATH. It includes “gender-affirming surgeries” for “adolescents on a case-by-case basis.” ImageImageImageImage This is a half-truth. The UK closed Tavistock, and Dr. Cass was highly critical of the “affirmative model.”

Dr. Cass interim review pointed out that “staff… feel under pressure to adopt an unquestioning affirmative approach.”

The UK is moving away from the affirmative model. ImageImageImage

Current euphemisms used by those pushing for more access to “gender-affirming care” for children:

“Gender-affirming care” = reinforcing a child’s idea that they were “born in the wrong body” through pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical medical interventions. 1/7 🧵 “Puberty blockers” = prescription of Lupron, a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist, given to children during Tanner stage 2. This is sometime between ages 10-12, depending on sex.

Lupron is normally used for kids with central precocious puberty. 2/7

I’ve seen some poorly written articles, but @lifeafterdawn’s recent piece in @Forbes is on an entirely different level.

It’s so poorly written that it’s actually hard to follow. But don’t worry, Dawn is “both a journalist and a graduate student.” Dawn starts off by whining about @GovRonDeSantis and @TuckerCarlson discussing Soros “funding soft-on-crime prosecutors.”

Dawn tries to compare this to Koch and FedSoc members donating to prosecutors, but I think Dawn misses the point. It’s about policy; not donors.

Stop citing "expert opinion" as a justification for transitioning children.

What you are doing is purely experimental, and the evidence does not support your claims. 🧵 Image A systematic review in Cochrane (IF 9.289):
"We found insufficient evidence to determine the efficacy or safety of hormonal treatment approaches for transgender women in transition..."

Kevin here is a professor @auhcop.

He thinks that he is a scientist, but I contend that he doesn't understand how to review evidence. Let's go over the sources he cited that he believes support giving puberty blockers and penectomies to children.🧵 PMID 9879847: This is a case report published in 1998. Literally a single patient. There is no way to control for the anything in this report. It is the basically the lowest level of evidence, on par with expert opinion.

This does not support Kevin's claim.

Why didn’t you include any of them in your fact check? politifact.com/factchecks/202… I mean, I gave you the links.
