Thread: Some are wondering about GSA, or gay-straight alliance/gender & sexuality alliance clubs like the one Tim Walz started while he was a high school teacher. They present themselves as anti-bullying groups. In reality, they are conversion and recruiting groups. (🧵) These groups exist to convert straight kids into queerness and recruit queer kids as activists. They sometimes lure kids in under false pretenses, as happened in this story: dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

One of my main takeaways from my combat deployment to Iraq was that most Americans have no idea how good we have it or how bad things can get That’s why I tend to clash a bit with the armchair Twitter intellectuals who casually diagnose the ills of society and throw around grand utopian ideas with little thought for how it would practically work or how much horror and bloodshed would be required to accomplish it

A DC judge just sentenced 75-year-old Paulette Harlow, who is in poor health, to 2 years in prison for praying outside an abortion clinic. Her husband fears she might die there. Image The sentencing was passed by Judge Kollar-Kotelly. After Harlow's husband begged for mercy, expressing his fear that his wife would die alone in prison, the judge taunted that maybe Harlow would "make an effort to remain alive” because that is a “tenet of [Harlow’s] religion.” Image

Lauren Handy retrieved the bodies of 5 babies from the trash of this abortion clinic. The bodies showed signs of illegal late term/partial birth and even post-birth abortion.

The police never investigated the murders of these babies, but sentenced Lauren to prison. After the bodies were found, Republicans in Congress joined calls to preserve the bodies for autopsy as there was strong evidence they were murdered by the abortionist of the clinic, who had previously admitted leaving living babies to die. Catching up. What I heard in this space was @JeremyDBoreing patiently dismantling loaded, ignorant, bitter questions from a group of mentally and spiritually confused individuals who desperately crave legitimacy. Race obsession is a spiritual sickness, and it was on full display. Nick Fuentes, in a few moments of honesty, came across like a scorned lover. He’s still bitter about being cast out of the conservative movement at such a young age when he started going down his “rabbit hole.”

You need to understand that these people's whole intent in taking over Star Wars was to deconstruct and pervert the monomyth - the story at the center of all creation that points our souls to the Creator. They hate it with every fiber of their being. Image They want our imaginations trapped within the four walls of the material world. Tolkien talked about this in his essay On Fairy-Stories. It's worth reading to better understand what's behind the vandalization of our modern myths.

The framing of this CNN story is insane. They wanted an abortion because of a birth defect. Kentucky Medicaid wouldn’t pay for premature delivery to induce death so they traveled out of state for a D&E abortion. The reason they couldn’t hold the baby was because she was in pieces Their daughter was over 20 weeks. They wanted to induce labor so they could hold their baby while she slowly suffocated in their arms. Since the couldn’t afford an induction, they found an abortion clinic in Chicago who offered to do a dismemberment abortion for free.

Making female video game characters weirdly unattractive or unnaturally masculine is an odd trend in video game art that I think is worth discussing. What do you think is behind it? Image Some might say this is about making things more realistic, but I don’t buy that. Women have beauty—it’s just a fact of life. Even women who aren’t “conventionally attractive” are much more beautiful than this.

Raising kids with a stay-at-home mom is a night and day difference from raising kids with a working mom, as one who has experienced both. My kids are happier, my wife is happier, I’m happier. If you’re not sure if it’s worth the sacrifice, trust me—it is. If you’re able, do it. Emphasis on my wife—I have not seen a happier girl in my entire life. Surrounded by messy squishy faces and glowing all the time. I love to see her joy.

$2 billion in property damage.
25 people killed.
Dozens of cities burned.
Black-owned businesses destroyed.
Families torn apart.
Churches torn apart.
A country torn apart.

All to raise $90 million, to enrich these three.

Before the Civil War, a novel changed America’s mind about slavery. On this day in 1852, Uncle Tom’s Cabin was published. It became the bestselling novel of the 19th century. It was written by a devout Christian stay-at-home mom.

Christians need to become culture-makers again. The author, Harriet Beecher Stowe, wrote the book after the death of one of her 7 children, and thinking about the anguish an enslaved mother must feel when her taken away child and sold. She began reading escaped slave narratives.

Do people actually believe the only alternative to the government providing school lunches is kids going hungry? Is that where we are now? Either government solves the problem or it doesn’t get solved? What on earth is wrong with us? We have become so disconnected from our fellow humans because government has stolen all the things that used to bond us to each other in love.

We need to ask how on earth this guy was given control over our elections and our entire national discourse. Surely this is the wisest, smartest, and most moral man in history—eminently qualified to police the speech of the human race, and not some random 35-yr-old weirdo, right? Right??

The saddest thing in the past 24 hours are the very women I’m describing here insisting that they’re proud and happy with this lifestyle. I don’t say any of this with scorn or judgment or condescension. It’s a tragedy what our culture is doing to young women and girls. Men too. And good grief—it should go without saying that I’m not describing ALL unmarried women here. I know many who don’t fit this description. I’m commenting on a very real cultural trend. And my anger is reserved for the people selling this to women as “empowering.”

I wonder how many media narratives over the last few years have their origins in bot campaigns. Here we have Business Insider reporting on this and connecting it to Elon Musk, which led in part to GE pausing ads on the platform. It was all bots.

Last week, @philvischer and I had a back-and-forth about abortion, race, and the church, which he reacted to on The Holy Post podcast with @SkyeJethani and @KaitlynSchiess. In it, he lied and distorted what I said to fit a narrative he was trying to tell. Here's the clip... (🧵) Before I start dismantling his nonsense, I should say that I’m annoyed to even be talking about this. I reject racial categories in the church. The scripture makes it clear that we are one in Christ. There isn’t a “white” church or a “black” church. At least there shouldn’t be.
