The Post Office Inquiry is hearing from Rodric Williams, a solicitor who joined the organisation in 2012 and is still head of legal. I'll tweet here with the key updates.
#PostOfficeScandal Image Inquiry hears that 600 sub-postmasters were suspended between 2013 and 2018 over Horizon shortfalls. Williams advised the Post Office on these suspensions and the legal position.

The public inquiry into the #PostOffceScandal has heard evidence from several lawyers involved in prosecutions or civil actions.

Here is a quick 🧵of what we've heard so far. Rob Wilson, the former Post Office head of criminal prosecutions, had responded to doubts about Horizon by saying the PO should 'grit its teeth and get on with prosecuting’.

Tomorrow @bbcquestiontime is coming from my home town Clacton and its audience features purely Brexit voters.

Catching up on the extraordinary High Court judgment today in H v F, and the decision to reject the frankly appalling findings of family judge HHJ Tolson. (thread) Case itself is over child arrangements and allegations by the mother of the most serious sexual assault. Judge had found against mother, a decision which was ruled to be 'fundamentally flawed and unjust'.
