I had my first flashback (first one I was actually aware of) in November, 2018, I realized there was obviously a lot buried inside me that I wasn’t even aware of or that flashback wouldn’t have happened. PTSD isn’t just having really bad memories and it’s not something that… twitter.com/i/web/status/1… 2

Decades earlier I unknowingly found a way to bury my emotions because, as I’ve said, if they showed on my face my family knew they had succeeded with their torture and they’d increase whatever was causing my distress. So I went about teaching myself how to identify what I was… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

In 2013 Matt and I sold our house in Los Angeles and bought a house just outside of Portland, Oregon. I gave my new primary care physician, Bichson Pham, D.O., all of my records. I made a detailed list of everything, including surgeries, conditions, previous doctors, dates, 2

everything she could possibly need. Not only did I write it all out but I also provided her with a disc from Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles where I’d been treated for twenty-two years. I knew that with my extensive medical history it was important not to leave anything out..

A year later, when I was thirteen, we moved to a rental house. It had a small guest house in the back that an elderly couple rented. Fred and Doris Dean. Fred was a tall slender man in his late seventies or early eighties. He smoked profusely as did Doris. I don’t think Fred 2

ever brushed his teeth because there was so much residual tar on them, always, like the coating on Michael Keaton’s teeth when he played Beetlejuice. Doris was a very small, frail, disabled woman and I never saw her leave the house. Once they invited me in. The walls of their

It wasn’t unusual to have police shine their flashlights on my sister and I while we were in bed. My parents were always fighting so I’m sure someone was alerting the authorities on a regular basis. My mother’s violent rage and screaming was incessant. Once when I was seven 2

I was sitting at the kitchen table with her when out of nowhere my mother picked up one of her heavy glass ashtrays and stormed into the bathroom where my father was showering. She hurled the ashtray into the glass shower door, shattering it, then stormed out of the

Here’s the science behind plenty of rest and fluids when you get sick;

Your body has a finite amount of resources. These resources are divided into two categories. Your core organs, the ones that help keep you alive like your brain, kidneys, liver, heart…take priority 2

when it comes to needing those resources.

The second category I refer to as the periphery. Things like hair, nails, teeth, skin health, eyes, your energy level…things you don’t need to stay alive, this group takes a back seat to your core…

Obama sent Biden to Ukraine to rid them of the corrupt prosecutor aiding Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash who was tapped by Putin to sell RUS nat gas to Ukraine at HIGH $. Hunter went w Joe & got a job on the board of Burisma-an energy co & BIG competitor to 2

Putin. That’s it. Firtash currently resides in Vienna & evades extradition on corruption charges in the US. Sen Ron Johnson visited with Firtash in Vienna & was gifted $125,000. He was then instrumental in the firing of Ukraine Ambassador Marie

My mother told us the reason she was institutionalized was because my father didn’t care for her “psychic dreams”. Examples of her dreams were the hideous monkeys that surrounder her as she woke up. She described in detail how she was paralyzed and how 2
terrifying it was because she couldn’t fight the monkeys off. Another dream was of a scary woman with long flowing black hair that stood at the foot of her bed beckoning my mother to join her. Both of her experiences sound like sleep paralysis to me. A temporary inability to

Awhile ago someone called me a baby killer because I’m pro choice. He also said he had more right to speak on abortion than I did because he has a child and all I have are stepchildren and dogs (his words). Below was my response:
.
I've had two abortions in my lifetime. One 2
when I was 19 and the second when I was 23. I don't regret having them. If in those situations again I would do the same. For me it made sense not to bring an unwanted child into the world. Im not writing this as justification or because I’m concerned about your opinion of

From the book I’m writing. Not edited yet.

For a good portion of my adult life I assumed I had insomnia. It would take me forever to fall asleep and I’d always wind up waking up throughout the night or just not be able to fall asleep and so I’d either get up and 2
watch tv or stare at the ceiling for hours. In my late forties my doctor put me on the sleep medication, Lunesta. Oh yeah! That was a fucking treat and a half. I’m not sure how that drug affects others but I didn’t ease into sleep like I did if it had happened naturally.

My dog Joe
.
It was September 1997. Matt and I were in escrow for a house we were buying. I took my two dogs, Juliette and Betty, to the dog park because our apartment didn’t have anywhere for them to run. While there I noticed an old golden retriever milling around but 2

I didn’t see him with anyone. I asked about him and was told that he had been dumped at the park and that the Humane Society or Animal Control had been called and should arrive in twenty minutes to come get him. A dog that old, if not retrieved by its owner, is

I was twenty-five and after Mark broke up with me I took a trip. First stop was Boulder, Colorado, where Mark and I had vacationed together. Yes, I already know that was really stupid. After Colorado I was going to visit my Aunt Linda in Manhattan. She has since had 2

her name legally changed but I’m going to leave it as Linda. That’s because she became a writer and had five books on the New York Times best sellers’ list a while back and I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t hesitate to sue me. For what? I don’t know, but I’m sure she’d find
