What Is Anemia?
Anemia develops when you don't have enough robust, healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout your body. The blood cells may lack enough hemoglobin, the protein that gives blood its red color. Anemia affects about 7% of the US population and is more common

I attended a military school in Calabar, and it was a very hectic,it was a place where they sent all the strong-headed, stubborn (aka coconut head) to, so you could be flogged, punished and taught into shape. There was this senior in yellow house.
my immediate senior, she was always sick, always wearing a cardigan and carrying a bottle of water.
I often wondered why her parents had enrolled her in that kind of school, she was always in the sick bay everyday. Because of her health challenges, she was deemed untouchable

This genotype has the most advantage when it comes to choosing a partner, people with genotype AA can reproduce with any other genotypes without having the fear of producing offspring with the sickle cell disease
