I released Goliath a year ago. I hoped it would change my life, and it did - though much differently than I imagined.

Of all of the cool shit I’ve gotten to do in my life, this is the thing I’m the MOST proud of. If you haven’t seen it yet, give it a watch. I think it’s one of the best specials to come out this year. A year later, I guess I can share some inside info about this special and why I chose to call it “Goliath.”

Firstly - it felt like the impossible thing to accomplish: self-producing and self-funding my own special. I had never produced anything more than a small short film for a few hundred bucks.

This cost me around $30k of my own money; pretty much everything I made above bills last year to get it done.

Doing this felt like trying to “slay” Goliath.
